Didn’t Spring Break feel way too long? Weren’t you just counting down the hours until April 1st? Well you certainly should have been because besides being the first week of school, April 1st-5th is Lambda Delta Lambda’s Spring Rush for 2013!!

Each night there’s a fun event planned, each one carefully designed so that you can learn more about everything LDL has to offer, bond with LDL members and other rushies, and just generally have a good time.

On Monday, April 1st from 6-8pm we’re hosting an Info Night at the LGBTRC; learn about Lambda Delta Lambda, meet the members, eat some delicious food, and play fun games.

Tuesday, April 2nd is Movie Night (from 7-9 at the LGBTRC).

On Wednesday April 3rd, meet at 9pm at Delta of Venus to go clubbing. We’ll head over to Bojangles in Sacramento and dance the night away!

Thursday we’ll have an Ice Cream Social at Baskin Robbins from 7-9pm.

And finally on Friday we’ll get the weekend started right with a party. The party will be at 9pm- stay tuned for exact details on location.

We look forward to seeing you at Rush Week. If you have any question feel free to stop by tables at the MU, we’ll be there several times this week.

Guess what- it’s almost the end of winter quarter! (Crazy, right?!) And that means its almost time for Lambda Delta Lambda’s Spring 2013 Rush!! Well and finals week, but that’s not nearly as fun…

Rush starts on Monday, April 1st and continues through Friday, April 5th. We’ve got lots of fun stuff planned; look forward to getting important info about LDL, bonding with current LDL members and your pledge mates, and making some great memories.

Stay tuned for details about specific events, times, and locations.

Come let your pride out while supporting a great resource here on campus! At Lambda Delta Lambda’s 4th annual Out and Loud dance party, we will be raising money for the WRRC’s library. So come out with us and have a blast. ;]

Hello everyone,

Since we have gone through our rush week activities, the next step in the process is to conduct interviews. This is your invitation to join us at Delta of Venus where we will further our knowledge about y’all! If you follow the link below, it will lead you to a Doodle page. For those of you not familiar with the site, it is set up as a scheduling tool in order to make sure we pick times that work for everyone. Just enter your name and pick the times that you are available next week. We will send out an email with final meeting times once everyone has entered their information.

Hello! Come and join the lovely sisters of Lambda Delta Lambda for our Spring Rush, 4/9-4/14 ! Come and get to know the sisters and let us get to know you as well :)

The events are as scheduled:

4/9 Monday: INFO NIGHT @ the LGBTRC, 6-8 pm

4/10 Tuesday: $1 Scoop Night at Baskin Robbins, 7-9 pm

4/11 Wednesday: Picnic and Jam on the Quad 12-3pm

Hi all! LDL is having our FALL 2011 Rush week of Oct 3-Oct 8! Interested in joining a queer friendly alternative sorority? Of course you are. Keep in mind that attending these events by no means requires you to rush LDL. This is just for us to get to know each other better <3.

Happy us at the beginning of the hike!

At the top! Not as happy as we look...

Some of us adventurous LDLers still around Davis for the summer decided to go on a hike through Cold Canyon and along the top ridge. None of us expected the hike to be as long as it was… We were damned tired in that “top” picture but only halfway through the trail! But we made it out alive! And with a new song that was our anthem throughout the hike… ”We’re going on an adventure, an LDL adventure, LDL’s on an advanture with our new friend Mark!” Thank you Lesley for our new song… =P

I’m a reluctant science major who wishes she had the time to be a bookworm. Imma graduate soon, and plan to travel to far-off places and do science things, like PhD-getting after or during those adventures. I’m my cat’s biggest fan, and know how to make dank marinara sauce. An ex-barista from San Diego, I have a deep love of greasy mexican food, as well as good espresso. An appreciation for serial television shows like Lost are my deepest flaw. When I transferred to UC Davis, I saw the word “progressive/alternative” on a poster, and, despite my misgivings about the word “sorority” that was also involved in this advertisement, I rushed LDL. In doing so, I discovered a diverse, awesome sisterhood that is anything but the stereotypical sorority. Best. Decision. Ever.
